Madam Fortuna may live in Flanders, but she likes to look beyond the borders. Of Youth in Action<\/a> the Kunstlab shapes European talent development. Thanks to Creative Europe<\/a> we stand for international creation and presentation throughout Europe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just think about The European Caravan<\/a>: this caravan immerses you in new, dazzling music, dance and theater. We build bridges between the diverse rich cultures of the continent, with a special focus on Roma\/Gitanos artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make all this work, Madam Fortuna has been setting up a structural European network since 2014. Leading partner Madam Fortuna collaborates with Taller de M\u00fasics (Barcelona, \u200b\u200bSpain), Teatr Brama (Goleni\u00f3w, Poland), Youth Cultural Center (Bitola, North Macedonia) and AlarmTheater (Bielefeld, Germany).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, Madam Fortuna continued its international engagement through The European Caravan Network, supported by Erasmus+ via the national agency JINT. Over the course of the year, we hosted three intensive youth camps dedicated to art and talent development. In Barcelona, 25 young participants from three countries joined a music camp in collaboration with local partners Carabuts\u00ed and Taller de M\u00fasics. In Poland, another group of 25 young people from three countries took part in a theatre camp with our local partner Teatr Brama, ending with a live performance attended by over 400 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of August, the closing week of the project took place at Het Paleis in Antwerp. There, 45 young artists from the five participating countries collaborated on. Voices<\/em>, and multidisciplinary performance built around music, dance, and storytelling. The audience was guided through five acts across the Exotische Markt in Antwerp, where diverse voices and cultures came together. Since 2014, Madam Fortuna has led this European network, working alongside partners such as Teatr Brama (Poland), Taller de M\u00fasics and Carabuts\u00ed (Spain), YCC Bitola (North Macedonia), and AlarmTheater (Germany) to build artistic bridges between young people across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both trajectories formed the foundation for a practical 93-page guide for international participatory art projects, as well as a documentary that offers insight into the entire process through the experiences of the young participants themselves. Both were developed in 2024 and will be presented in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
