In Skopje (Macedonia) we will work for 10 days on the theme 'Celebration'. MIR is the Macedonian partner that organizes the youth internship. Period 4-14 July. 

With music and theater, a performance is prepared by young players and musicians. The participants come from Macedonia and Belgium.

• 3 showing moments in 3 places in Skopje: Brewery, central square in Shutka (district in Skopje where 25,000 Roma live - periphery of Skopje) and Alexander the Great square (in the center of the city).

The Iraqi theater maker Hussein Al-Khalidi has lived in Belgium since 2015. He delivers a monologue about his place in society and his future in Western Europe. Hussein is also curious about who is in the room with him and enters into dialogue with the audience.

A 17-member group of musicians and players was put together and together they resided in the Ardennes for a week (29 Oct – 2 Nov). We worked on the theme 'Eros (life instinct) and Thanatos (death instinct)'

Young acting talent follows a talent development program with a weekly training in acting improvisation and composition, with a focus on interculturality.

In the period 2017-2018, Madam Fortuna organizes moments to strengthen the connection with the neighborhood, where we treated our local residents, supporters and interested parties to a time to meet. These days were organized around a theme, were accessible and the meeting was the priority. We got to know new local residents and neighborhood organizations and they got to know our organization.

A new step in intercity music project between Ghent and Antwerp. Musical quest in which Roma music comes into dialogue with music influences from other cultures (Latin America and the Middle East)

Form: music based on the traditions of the Balkans and Eastern Europe, but adapted into fusion.

Madam Fortuna is organizing a party with music, speeches, film and food in collaboration with De Schoolbrug (Antwerp), De Centrale (Ghent), Samenlevingsopbouw (Ghent). The food was made by Roma people from Bulgaria, Kosovo and Macedonia.

• 60 participants on stage and 25 behind the scenes. Mix of Roma and non-Roma.
• 2 presentations: April 6, 2018 in De Centrale / Ghent and April 7 in Het Oude Badhuis / Antwerp.
• 350 spectators in Ghent, 200 spectators in Antwerp.

In the run-up to the municipal elections on October 14, Madam Fortuna takes to the streets and gives citizens their vote. We sing and play about what our city has to offer and about what it lacks. 'Voice of the City' is a short street theater performance about the longing, joy and sadness of our city.

We will present ourselves in squares, in the streets. Both in the center and on the edge of the city. A group of 23 players, singers and musicians greet you!

Peter De Graef wrote the text based on the themes that our participants raised.

A young man tries to build a future in a new country but is confronted with a reality that is very difficult for him to come to grips with. The text is inspired by 'Le Horla' by Guy de Maupassant. 'Never again a monologue' is a work in progress, the development of a creation with the Senegalese actor Idy Mbengue.

To Ostend!
For a 'rendezvous musical' between Madam Fortuna and KleinVerhaal.
An introduction between 2 houses. A house in Antwerp and a house in Ostend.
With the question: what do these 2 houses have in common?
We will find the answer in 1 weekend.
It will be a special musical encounter between musicians from the Ostend Street Orchestra and musicians from MF projects. 2 full days that revolve around music and participation, research and experiment.
