Madam Fortuna exists thanks to the efforts of our enthusiastic and diverse group of volunteers. They help build Madam Fortuna:
- at the bar during activities,
- in the maintenance of the hall and premises
- on the street to hand out flyers
- like little ones when it comes to supporting the administration
- as jacks-of-all-trades in productions
- as a cooking talent for the players and entourage
- as a photographer at rehearsals and performances
- and so much more…

What do our volunteers themselves say?
I ended up at Madam Fortuna by chance, in 2017 as a costumer. One thing led to another: I was hired as a volunteer to paint, work on the garden and help with the administration. I have not regretted it for a moment! At Madam Fortuna I always meet great, creative and tolerant people. I have fantastic experiences here that I would not want to miss anymore.
My wife Pauline had been volunteering at Madam Fortuna for a while, and so she pulled me into the pool. I started taking some pictures of performances and activities, and gradually but surely I felt more and more at home in the Fortuna family. In addition to maintaining the garden, I share my knowledge and experience as a volunteer, which I have gained during my career. Today I am enjoying my retirement to the fullest and at Madam Fortuna I experience a world full of dynamics, fascinating people and artistic openness.
