Antwerp received a big visitor on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 October, literally. Little Amal, a Syrian refugee girl measuring 3.5 meters tall, started her journey of more than 8,000 kilometers across Europe in search of her mother in July. The city of Antwerp, District Borgerhout, Reuzen vzw, the palace and Atlas took the initiative to welcome her to Antwerp and have developed a program around her visit with various partners.
